WTS Engineering was formed in 2017 as a result of over 25 years of Municipal Experience. WTS specializes in water distribution, wastewater collection and stormwater conveyance systems. Having been in the municipal environment for over 25 years, WTS staff has experienced that all too often the municipal organization becomes the design firm by default. The design firm will provide a survey, a preliminary layout and geotechnical work; however, the Municipal Project Manager will typically have to redesign the project to provide an alignment that has adequate access and can be effectively operated and maintained. Most design firms just don’t have the necessary operation and maintenance experience to furnish adequate designs. WTS Engineering has over 25 years reviewing these designs, correcting them, operating and maintaining the systems and has the necessary experience to provide a system design that is accessible and can be effectively operated and maintained.
All too often the design of water distribution, wastewater collection and stormwater conveyance systems are performed by junior level engineers as most are seen as simple designs. Nothing could be further from the truth. The location, material, alignment, valving and access to your system will be in place for hundreds of years, therefore, a lot of thought should go into these elements. At WTS Engineering this is all we do; therefore, designs are well thought out and will stand the test of time.

WTS Engineering is a small firm with less overhead than full service engineering firms; therefore, we can do your line work very professionally yet economically. WTS will never take on a project that it does not have the capacity to complete on time, or take on a project not in our specialty just for the sake of billable hours.
